As Chief Executive Officer, Quebec, Laurent is responsible for shaping and carrying out FCT's strategies in Quebec. Since joining the company in 2007, Laurent has ensured FCT's products and services are meeting the unique needs of the Quebec market.

Previously Laurent was National Vice-President, Distribution, ING Wealth Management and was responsible for the implementation of a wealth management operation in various P&C brokerages across Canada.

Laurent has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career as a sales representative for Prudential and quickly became the youngest sales manager ever appointed in Canada. During his tenure at Prudential, Laurent held a variety of senior-level positions.

Following the sale of Prudential, Laurent became Regional Vice-President, Eastern Canada, for Zurich Canada before being promoted to Vice-President, Strategic Alliances at Zurich's head office.

Laurent is on the Board of Directors for The Fondation du Collège de l'immobilier du Québec, The College of Real Estate Brokers.
